Cocktail 2 is a Bollywood romantic comedy movie directed by Homi Adajania, co-written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain, and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Luv Ranjan, and Ankur Garg under Maddock Films and Luv Films. Cocktail 2 is a sequel to Cocktail (2012) and stars Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna. The movie was shot in Sicily, Delhi, and Gurugram.

The bonds and relationships formed between people are precious to everyone, and no one wants to lose them. In Cocktail, the family pressures Kunal and Diya into marriage, even though Kunal and Ally have fallen in love with each other by that point, yet Kunal still marries Diya, and Ally wishes them the best for their future together.

Kunal and Diya ultimately get married, and Ally teases him lightheartedly, joking that she could just as easily marry a divorced man herself. Ally brings comedy and fun to the drama throughout. Kunal, meanwhile, manages to stay composed and does what he believes is right at the time.

The film featured a fair amount of dialogue-heavy scenes, which many felt made the movie feel more chaotic and messy. overall though, as seen in previous Bollywood films, chaotic and messy scenes have sometimes been used effectively as a stylistic choice. The soundtrack was composed by Pritam, with lyrics written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The film includes six songs in total: Jab Talak, Mashooqa, Tujhko, Vallah, Bandhu 2.0, and Jag Se Laaj. Marketing and Audience Reach
The creators promoted the movie widely and strategically among younger audiences, though the film's A rating meant a certain segment of the audience was automatically excluded from watching it in theaters.
